²⁸ He told his brothers, “My money has been returned to me. Look, it was in my sack.”

Their hearts sank, and they began to shake, saying to one another, “What is this that God has done to us?”

²⁹ When they reached their father Jacob in the land of Canaan, they told him everything that had happened to them. ³⁰ “That man who is the lord of the land spoke harshly to us and placed us in prison as spies of the land.
